Alternatives is a charity based in East London, England. We meet the need for a confidential environment where anyone with a crisis pregnancy can be helped to reach a decision and where their right to choose is respected at all times.

Alternatives helps women with regard to pregnancy or pregnancy loss, including abortion. It offers a variety of services:

free pregnancy testing (with immediate result)
counselling for an unplanned pregnancy
post-abortion counselling
miscarriage counselling
befriending service
free clothes and equipment provision for those on a low income
advice on benefits and accommodation
All counsellors are trained and supervised. They can give as much time as you need to talk in a friendly, non-clinical and relaxed environment.
We observe strict confidentiality. You are welcome to make an appointment
